Yunsha Jin is a PhD candidate in Urban Planning, Design, and Policy at Politecnico di Milano. She holds a Master of Engineering in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, China. Her academic background combines landscape architecture, environmental design, urban climatology, and climate-adaptive urban planning. She has received several international and national design awards, including first prizes in the International Federation of Landscape Architects World Student Design Competition.Yunsha’s research interests focus on green infrastructure, nature-based solutions, urban microclimate, human perception, and climate-adaptive urban design. Her current PhD research investigates the relationship between green infrastructure, thermal environments, human thermal experience, and emotional responses in urban spaces.
