Celine Tarabay is an architect and urban planner with a master’s degree in architecture from the USEK in Lebanon, and currently pursuing a master’s in Urban Planning and Policy Design at Politecnico di Milano. As a Polimi Ambassador in Smart Infrastructure and Creative Thinking, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by coursework in engineering, computer science, and machine learning.
Combining a foundation in design with technical expertise, Celine focuses on evidence-based approaches to planning. Her current work revolves around the integration of smart infrastructure and the creation of synergies between urban systems to build resilient and efficient cities. Her master’s thesis explores these themes in-depth, particularly through the rehabilitation of Lebanon’s railway system as a central hub for merging energy, waste management, and transportation networks. Additionally, she engages in data analytics and machine learning projects, continuously expanding her technical expertise to support innovative urban solutions.
