Silvia Marinoni

Staff – Research Fellow

Silvia Marinoni is a research fellow with a background in territorial planning, urban studies, and geographical sciences, with a focus on climate change adaptation at the local scale. She holds a Master’s degree in Territorial, Urban and Landscape Planning from Politecnico di Torino, and has gained research experience contributing to climate adaptation projects in Alpine contexts, with some practice in participatory processes and stakeholder engagement.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of technical expertise and community engagement, combining approaches to address climate-induced risks in mountain territories. Special attention is given to the value of experiential and local knowledge, focusing on active participation of communities in risk prevention and resilience building.
