Staff – Research Fellow
Ziqi Cui is a research fellow at Laboratorio di Simulazione Urbana Fausto Curti. She holds a Master of Architecture in Computational Design from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in Spain, and a Master in Interior Design for the Built Environment from the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. She has extensive experience in advanced architectural design and computational methods.
Ziqi specializes in the quantification and analysis of urban data. Her research interests focus on generative artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision applications in urban areas. Special attention is paid to pedestrian perception assessment, environmental simulation and the development of interactive dashboards. She is dedicated to solving current problems through a blend of cutting-edge technology and creative strategies.
