Amruta is a post-graduate in Urban Planning and Policy design from Politecnico di Milano. Her thesis project focused on analyzing urban street configuration and understanding the walkability in different street layouts in the city of Milan. During her studies, she also assisted in international mobility and transportation projects for six months at Systematica Srl, Milan. Her education was funded by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through Invest Your Talent in Italy (IYT) Scholarship 2019-2021.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and has practiced as an urban planner in India on Smart cities mission, sanitation, and transport planning projects for two years.
Her research interest consists of spatial assessment and remote sensing analysis to improve urban movements and promote soft mobility to enhance overall quality of urban life. Presently, she is involved in AirBreak Project to assist in GIS and remote sensing analyses for examining and simulating air pollution trends in the city of Ferrara.
